I’m looking for a community that discusses LLM implementations, research breakthroughs, and real-world applications. I want to avoid blanket statements either in favour of or against this technology. Does it exist?

Bonus question: Is there a dedicated community for finding communities besides the trending/new communities posts?

I've typed a few terms that I could think of into search and it hasn't revealed what I'm looking for.

But I’d just like to pause here to confirm whether maybe anti-AI is just our shorthand for anti-the-way-AI-is-right-now. Anti-the-companies-that-run-AI. I do not want noisy server farms taking up all the water of rural communities.

Yes and also all the pressure to conform to AI being jammed into everything and running the internet into the ground while they are doing it. Training data sets on stolen or collected data against people's wishes.

I'm completely against those things and while it is true that there are many machine learning and other technologies under the AI umbrella. It is the actions of the companies that are doing AI for profits AND the people who shill for them because they ignore all of the negatives and only focus on the positives.
