Similar to post WWII Germany & Austria had the Denazification initiative to ride society, culture, press, economy, judiciary, and politics of the Nazi ideology. We will need to remove MAGAism from the roots to finally free ourselves.

The #1 thing we need as you alluded to is propaganda eradication. It's not just Russia doing it, though they are dumping gasoline on the fire. It's the Heritage Foundation, American Petroleum Institute, Opus Dei (and anyone involved with that), and a ton of ultra wealthy conservatives, who fund Fox, NewsMax, OAN, and the social media personalities like Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, etc.
Without addressing this source of brainwashing in the cult, we'll just be removing some symptoms without ripping out the roots at the source.
