Dublin is in Ireland, not Great Britain. There was a whole kerfuffle about it.
And car bombs were involved.
No, the Irish war of independence was 1916-1920 and was mostly fighting with guns. The car bombs was much later during the troubles and was about northern Ireland.
He did say there was a kerfuffle.

Not to be that guy. But Great Britain refers to mainline England, Scotland, Wales. The term you're looking for is the United Kingdom.
The original post said “name a place in Britain”
Britain is the geographical location. The United Kingdom is the country.
Hence the full name of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
