I like how it makes perfect sense and is completely logical if you're on lemmy and absolutely 0 sense if you're not

Tbf that's the matter of taste/preference. I'm have the completely opposite view to yours - I'm really attached to old vids, drawings, texts (that I made myself when I was younger). So I store and backup everything, even things most people would think of as unserious/unnecessary. It feels like a part of myself, a part of my story, you know, so I would be very upset if I lost it. And I can understand if someone have attachment to old films, books etc. I would say archiving old stuff is kind of a hobby in itself.

Although that being said, I can see advantages of your style - mainly less spending money on harddrives and time of setting them up and backing up stuff :)

It looks almost exactly like the apple one

I was binging the pc building vids the other day, and also listen to one of the old profs talking about their car hobby. The parallels are striking.

Tweet saying: My bf was slow cooking ribs and I guess they were done in the middle of the night. So this man wakes me up at 3 am and goes "here babe, i brought you a rib." So we sat in bed and ate ribs. I've found my soulmate.

I liked to go to the FediDB to look at the Fediverse statistics (mostly how well is lemmy doing). But I got there today after a somewhat long brake and found out that they stopped updating their graphs for individual software since November 2024. But the "all fediverse" graph is up to date so I kinda confused at this point. Does anyone know what happend? Why they stopped? And do they plan on keeping up to date again sometime in the future?
