BSW is politically 99% aligned with the "confirmed" Nazi party AfD, the only difference is that Wagenknecht hasn't publicly defended Hitler yet (AFAIK).

Why not double it now to put Ukraine in a better position in negotiations?

I don't want to discourage anyone from helping OSM using StreetComplete or other apps, but you should be aware that this is an open source project and your edits are public. If you walk around in your neighborhood and contribute opening times or whatever, those edits can be seen on a map along with your username and can in many cases be used to narrow down the neighborhood you live in, depending on your behavior. So if you're concerned about privacy, make sure you use a random generic username that you don't use anywhere else when signing up, so people googling your username from social media for example can't locate you just based on that name.

Companies tend to outsource jobs to cheaper countries, so unless you got some super special rare skills that can't be found anywhere in Europe or you want to compete with Indians for a crap hotline job, I'm afraid you''re out of luck. Also as far as I know (this might be outdated information though) as an US citizen you're required to pay income tax in the US no matter where in there world you're working, meaning you'd be paying income tax twice, in the EU and the US.

Babbel is pretty good and made in Germany. There's no free/ad-financed version though, only a free trial period before you gotta pay. There's not a whole lot of gamification but it has a streak mechanism like Duolingo which is enough to keep me practicing daily.

Now that's a weird coincidence, I only learned about Tony's chocolate a few days ago cause there was a big product recall poster in my local supermarket and it kinda stuck in my mind cause I was wondering how TF do stones end up in chocolate. :D

So by their logic Moscow highrise buildings are legitimate military targets now?

Where in the EU would you need an off-road vehicle though? It's not like we have a lack of roads or massive inaccessible wilderness.

Macron, who has been calling for years to direct defense spending toward EU products, said he wants to convince other European countries that are currently “buying American” to shift to local options.

I've been using their app for some time now and really like the concept: Basically it allows restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets etc to announce when they have stuff leftover that they'd usually throw away at the end of the day. You can browse those nearby shops in the app and reserve a "surprise bag" for a small amount, usually around a third of the regular price, but it varies. In the pickup timeframe (usally around 30-60min before their closing time) you go there, show that you've reserved the bag in your app, confirm that you've received it and happily walk home with a ton of surprise food for super cheap.

After using it for a while I can especially recommend looking for food stalls at farmers markets as they often have lots of stuff leftover that they don't want to take back home when packing up so they're often super generous. Bakeries are also great, I regularly get a week's supply of bread, buns, pastries and cake for like 3-5€.

EDIT: While it's made in Denmark the app works globally or at least all of EuropeAFAIK, definitely works fine with lots of participating shops in Germany.

Russia is manipulating global AI models by embedding its propaganda within them, a tactic termed "AI grooming," which raises concerns about the potential influence of these models on public opinion and the reliability of information disseminated by AI systems.

Direct link to the news site but the article is worth reading as well to learn what it's about. Basically a bunch of European public broadcasters teamed up to make a news site where you can find interesting news from all over Europe that you'd otherwise probably miss.
