This rocks - I'll be there! The protests are therapeutic and our numbers are increasing. See you on the street, dear reader. We are many.

They were also accused of providing fraudulently completed vaccination record cards for over 1,900 doses of the vaccine in exchange for either a cash or a donation to a specified charitable organization.

It seems to me it might be more than two vaccine doses.

The government also alleged some children were given saline shots, at their parents’ request, so the minors believed they were getting the vaccine.

Right-wing parents lying to their own children. There are no words...

It takes courage to do what you're doing and you have my support. All the very best to you.

This meme is powerful and sends a very important message. The next protest is on July 17. I hope I get to see you out on the street with me. If we can keep pulling up our numbers, it can make a huge difference. I choose to believe.

Sergey Brin is a Nazi and a genocide enabler.

Davis said that over the last two decades, most of the terror attacks in Canada have been perpetrated by ideologically motivated violent extremism.

“We’re not talking about al-Qaida and Islamic State. We’re talking about anti-Muslim, ‘Incel’ or anti-government extremists. And I think that’s one of those things that Canadians don’t necessarily understand. The Islamic State makes the news, but it’s really this other type of terrorism that’s the real problem in this country.”

I'm going to guess the terrorists in this case are not drag queens, but rather, right-wing extremists.

They found that a U.S. child was 15% to 20% more likely to have a chronic condition in 2023 than a child in 2011. In particular, the prevalence of depression, anxiety, sleep apnea and obesity all increased, as did rates of autism, behavioral problems, developmental delays and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Yikes, that's bad.

"What we found is that from 2010 to 2023, kids in the United States were 80% more likely to die" than their peers in these nations, he says.

Among infants, these disparities in mortality were driven largely by sudden unexpected infant death and prematurity. In older children and adolescents, the gap was fueled by gun violence, motor-vehicle crashes and substance abuse.

Imagine a child in the US being almost twice as likely to die as compared to a peer in Europe - and it falling down to guns, car accidents, drugs, and lack of healthcare. This is very sad.

I think that's based on locale. In some English-speaking areas, people might use "holiday" instead.

Very well stated - thank you, LadyButterfly.

It turns out that most people do not like hatred.

Minutes before the United States launched a deadly missile campaign in Yemen that reportedly killed 53 people and wounded 89, including multiple children, on March 15, the Atlantic’s Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg was sitting in his car in a grocery store parking lot waiting for the attack.

The story is now well-known and well-memed: Days before the missile barrage, Goldberg was added to a Signal group chat called “Houthi PC small group” after President Donald Trump’s national security advisor, Michael Waltz, invited him to connect on the encrypted message application. The editor was included in the discussion inadvertently, a spokesperson for the National Security Council acknowledged to the Atlantic.

This report is based on a video Prime Minister Mark Carney shared. It's worth watching the brief 1.5 minute skit and a link to it may be found on this page.

Being classy and keeping up the positive energy is what this is about. And this reflects very well on Prime Minister Mark Carney.

He's rocking it.

This article makes a great read. Some notable quotes follow.

First the recap from the last week:

Robert F Kennedy Jr made the announcement to suspend his independent presidential campaign on Thursday. He soon appeared with Trump at a political rally in Arizona where he formally backed the former president, who clinched the Republican nomination despite his conviction on 34 felony charges of falsifying business records to conceal hush-money payments to adult film actor Stormy Daniels, among various other legal problems.

And this is particularly telling - in case anyone had any doubts. Emphasis in bold is mine:

Kennedy said he planned on removing his name from the 2024 presidential election ballot in swing states to boost Trump’s chances of retaking the Oval Office. But Kennedy said he would remain on the ballot in other states that are not expected to decide the presidential race.

The history:

Kennedy’s presidential bid and subsequent endorsement of Trump has drawn sharp criticism from the rest of his family. And, before its suspension, his campaign was replete with controversies, including a sexual assault allegation made against him by a former staffer and the proliferation of numerous conspiracy theories over vaccine safety, Covid 19, wireless internet, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and antidepressants.

The article closes with junior's brother, Max, quoted as saying:

“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be motivated to write something of this nature. With a heavy heart, I am today asking my fellow Americans to do what will honor our father the most: Ignore Bobby and support vice-president Kamala Harris and the Democratic platform. It’s what is best for our country.”

WASHINGTON—In an effort to address voters hurt by recent actions that resulted in her being thrown out of a theatrical performance, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) announced Friday that she would personally jerk off any constituents she offended. “In the past week, I’ve heard from many supporters who were concerned by my behavior in recently released footage, which is why I’m offering to make things good between us by jacking you off,” said Boebert, instructing supporters to contact her office with proof of Colorado residency and she would personally travel to their home to deliver an on-the-house tugjob. “As a disclaimer, I will be wearing a latex glove and you need to wipe yourself off afterwards. I’m not going to do that. I’m serious about making amends, however, so feel free to rest your hand on my breasts, if necessary. Just know that this a one week only deal. So get in touch soon.” At press time, Boebert also warned her constituents that she planned to vape the entire time.
