In its court filing Friday, Trump’s administration contended that Thursday’s directive to fund full SNAP benefits runs afoul of the U.S. Constitution.

Not like Trump has ever cared about it before. Yet when the vulnerable goes hungry, here he is fighting the courts to keep them that way.

Fucking evil.

And this right here is a great reason to buy anything else other than pre-order GTA6.

Absolutely agree that Brianna needs to log the fuck off, de-center herself as any sort of repetitive of the community and sort out her own internalized transphobia. She isn't even close off the hook.

This is not a matter of innocent ignorance. This was a matter of willfully ignoring all of the people telling you what would happen, complete with historical record.

100%. I agree completely. She ignored the broader trans community and perpetuated harm, all for selfish self-congratulatory reasons. But what I'm saying is that she recognized the futility and is starting to listen. This no "forgive and forget", but we can't condemn her for admitting she was wrong.

I just don't want others with misguided bigoted talking points thinking that they are trapped in that echo chamber.

It's easy to dunk on how wrong she used to be, Brianna absolutely and clearly was. But now that even she agrees, it's not super helpful to mock her about it.

There are a oodles of different social pressures to conform for trans women, I truly understand her motivation. Girl let her internalized transphobia take the wheel and went look for nonexistent middle ground. Especially early in transition it's alluring to be *one of the good ones" and get a very specific type of applause for it.

We need to recognize that Bri didn't have to admit her faults, glad she did, but even on far more trivial issues most folk struggle. I'm glad she got here, and I look forward to her being better advocate for our rights. But her past should only be as an example for others, not a crudgel to mock her previous bargaining.

Welcome Hon, glad to see ya. ♥️

Simulation theory is the long way around to creationism for atheists.

Apart from that yeah, nothing changed, not even in the slightest. 🙄

So, lemme get this straight. You're saying things have changed, which is why we need AI to repeat things people are already saying.

lol

Comparisons between MAGA, Nazis and confederacy have been prevalent for the last decade. Nothing about this is new, original or even interesting. AI slop saying true things is still low effort derivative AI slop. It's not helpful in the slightest.

All hobbies that don't involve a screen. I've been having serious mobility issues, where standing for more than a few minutes is painful and I leave the house only in my wheelchair. It makes going to restaurants, concerts and events difficult. Makes going on hikes impossible or even existing in parks more painful than pleasurable.

Appreciate your legs y'all. :(

Unfortunately Hannibal kinda sucks.

Buress owns a building in Chicago; in 2017, he removed residential tenants in order to convert the property into Airbnb short-term rental units. In October 2019, he posted a tweet against Bernie Sanders's call for rent control and asked for donations to an Illinois landlords association, leading to Twitter users criticizing him with the phrase "Hannibal Buress is a landlord". Buress later stated that he regretted his now-deleted tweets, which he claimed were jokes meant to stir up controversy. He attributed the criticism he received to fallout over comments he made on Sanders's age. Buress also said a housing charity had refused his $4,000 donation due to his perceived landlord advocacy.

So him not caring who is paying him, long as he is getting paid, sorta tracks. :/

Well, as a tofu muchin soy snackin vegan freak, I'm tempidly optimistic. Guess that fascist orange fuck is gonna lower my grocery prices after all.

And to think, all it only took was crashing the national economy, needlessly wasting soft cultural power and enacting worldwide boycotss of domestic goods to FINALLY make America great!

🙄

Nope, the "even" is important. The NRA supports gun control when minority groups are buying guns.

In contrast to the NRA’s rigid opposition to gun control in today’s America, the organization fought alongside the government for stricter gun regulations in the 1960s. This was part of an effort to keep guns out of the hands of African-Americans as racial tensions in the nation grew. The NRA felt especially threatened by the Black Panthers, whose well-photographed carrying of weapons in public spaces was entirely legal in the state of California, where they were based.

Don't give money to Nazis no matter what.

But it does help that each and everyone of those brand objectively suck in their respective field.
