Sometimes now before i finished reading the headline I assume it must be from the onion or some other satire source, and until a second later i see it is just real news. The world got so unpredictable lately.
I upgraded my free account to mailplus last year, still not really sure if i need any of the premium features but what convinced me in the end was the thought that the reason I am used to free email is because i chose to pay with my data. I trust proton they won't make money of my data, so i feel like i owe them money to keep my email working.

I think since the introduction of euro and Schengen the percentage of eu-citizens who never been outside their country has dropped close to zero. Also think the percentage of eu-citizens who has never left eu is smaller than us-citizens leaving the us is. States are big yes, but the difference between states is smaller which means it makes less sense to travel 'abroad'.
