The question would be, in case of comparing with a VPS , which entity will hand over your data to the requesters more easily or even not doing it because is not possible. As far as I know example mullvad will not even be possible to them to hand over user data. While a provider like hetzner.. all your personal info is directly associated with your full data .

Why Signal is not in f-droid? Is there a statement from them about it? What I know is only in Google store . And talking to much about privacy and not being in a f-droid repo, is ironic

They know already all the private vpn servers, even almost major service providers list them publicly or for any user to check.

Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone is aware of a resource or webpage that tracks and lists VPN providers' servers, particularly focusing on their status in relation to being targeted or banned by major services like Cloudflare, Google, etc.

As privacy advocates, we understand the importance of staying informed about the effectiveness and reliability of VPN services, especially in the face of increasing scrutiny and restrictions. Having access to a centralized and up-to-date list would be incredibly beneficial for users looking to make informed decisions about their privacy tools.

If such a resource exists, please share the link or any relevant information. If not, giving a the idea to the community. Your insights and contributions are greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time and assistance.

I had constant problems with duplicati

Yes i know, i had them too, and serious ones. It needs to always have an eye on it. I choose it because the large amount of cloud storage supported natively, and not have to configure and deal with rclone or even + restic to do a backup in home products like Onedrive. For me that's more noise and issues.

It's just... A browser...

Duplicati, has many cloud providers as destination. Encryption. Basic backup tools functionalities. I use Onedrive family plan which has a total of 6 TB for my backups. Other solid option is rclone , it does the same even more, but is more focused on sync than backup. Also many cloud providers supported. Both are Foss

I had a private invidious instance, with the bad idea to be attached with my paid domain, and even it was private , google crawl bots listed it into the Google Safe Browsing blacklist. In consequence, my domain admin (NJALLA) banned me: i had 1 year paid, they didn't refund, and imagine the disaster in all my self hosted apps.
