"The Fediverse has its own full-fledged YouTube alternative that possesses some unique superpowers thanks to ActivityPub. In the previous article in this series I covered what it’s like to use PeerTube from the point of view of a casual user:

Today’s post will discuss: how to use the software as a video creator – and its advantages over video hosting platforms by Big Tech companies."

Hubzilla (macroblogging service in the Fediverse) can also be used to create and collaborate on wikis.

I can only find a German-language manual for this right away: https://help.hubzilla.hu/benutzerhandbuch/wikis.html

Open Library is the main data source for Bookwyrm for book data. Bookwyrm is an application in the Fediverse that can be used to find and write reviews of books. I wouldn't see that as a contradiction.

The article in the JoinFediverseWiki is very short. It could be expanded a little. I used to have an editor account for the wiki, maybe I'll find the time to reactivate it.
