I'm a huge AOC supporter, but she should wait a 2 or 3 cycles (if there are any cycles anymore). I'd rather see her take Schumer's senate seat, and serve there for a term or two first, and succeed Bernie as the Senate's progressive leader.

They cheated, and we ALL know it. If she's upset about anything, it's that she was cheated out of her historic legacy, and the spineless Democratic party backed HitlerPig over her.
Confirmation of something we already know, or should already know - elected politicians are craven cowards.
This is actually great news. We can get them to side with us against HitlerPig. All we have to do is make them fear the citizens more than HitlerPig, and there are a LOT more of us than them.
More than just going out of business, the bar should sanction them, including revoking law licenses. They have succumbed to extortion from a an organized crime organization, agreeing to compromise their legal obligations in order to appease a treasonous criminal. If they had done the same thing for someone like John Gotti or Whitey Bulger, there would be no question of punishment, and HitlerPig is worse than them, by a long ways.

Everybody is assuming that this is the result of this administration's virtuosic incompetence, but it is equally possible that these people have been specifically targeted. The last one was an immigration attorney, so that seemed to indicate they were harrassing someone who was opposing them. I wonder if they have some bizarre reason to target this woman.
I suspect Gitmo will be reserved for the high profile prisoners that would cause too much outcry - celebrities, elected politicians, wealthy resistors, etc. The ones they don't care about will go to El Salvador.

America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. The average maximum security prison holds 800-1200 prisoners. The largest, Angola, LA, holds over 8000.
Our most famous black site, Guantanamo Bay, located in CUBA (WTF?), currently holds about 120. They are now building a facility there, that will hold 30,000 prisoners. That's nearly 4 times our largest prison, which is already about 8 times larger than average.
The question is: Who do they intend to put in that new facility, which is far from any oversight by the media or the courts. It's in fucking Cuba, which is controlled by...well, you get it.
