It's not obscure at all, and it isn't limited to just restaurants. I've known the term 86, referring to removing something or someone, since I was kid.

Theil holds Vance's leash, tightly. If Vance becomes president, Theil becomes president.

H1B Visa workforce is the wave of the future. The Sociopathic Oligarchs are angling to create "Freedom Zones" where they will build their new facilities, complete with living facilities for their foreign workers. They will operate independent of government regulations of any kind. Skum is already working on it.

It's literally how they use foreign workers in Arab countries. They usually use Indians or Filipinos, barely pay them, and strictly limit their personal agency. It's literally slavery.

It's coming to America. We can always pick fruit.

They are trying to get us to accept the the new American Economic Paradigm that ALL households require at least two paychecks to exist, and 3 or 4 if you want to get ahead.

Of course, employers want us to be enslaved to them for our entire schedule, so they don't like us working second jobs or side hustle.

Time for Robin Hood economics (take from the rich, give to the poor).

Starting pay at many office jobs isn't much more than minimum wage, but at least young workers can tell their parents that they work in an office instead of running a cash register, and they wear a tie instead of an apron. That's supposed to be worth a lifetime of student loan debt.

They're all for States' Rights, until those rights are different from what MAGA wants.

The Andy Griffith Show. Wholesome, and ALWAYS funny, at least until Don Knotts left the cast. I just watched an Earnest T Bass episode and an Otis the Drunk episode over the weekend.

I'm operating under the assumption that he is both virtuosically incompetent, AND an active, enthusiastic traitor who is literally trying to destroy America, so it can be more easily exploited by him and his wealthy friends from around the world.

Tell them to deliver it, and send them the address of the county landfill.

If you think AOC is a "faker" because of her position on a single issue, then you are just a MAGA propagandist.

For all your words, you clearly don't understand Politics.

Real Politics is about compromise, so ALL politicians have to have fuzzy boundaries sometimes. What really matters is the overall direction and morality of the politician. Are they compromising for the good of a bill that will offer a constructive improvement to America? Or are they compromising because it's good for their career or their bank account?

I can get behind a decent, moral candidate, even if I don't agree with all their positions, much more than a candidate with no morals who will tell me ANYTHING I want to hear.

I wish more people could understand that. So many people are still angry that the Dems won't make him their candidate, but he is NOT a Democrat.

The presidential nomination is the highest award the party can give to a member, and they are going to give it to someone who has been a loyal party member, raised money for them, stuck up for them when they've done stupid stuff, etc.

Bernie is none of that. He may caucus with the Dems, but he has ALWAYS been an independent. For many years, he was the ONLY independent. He doesn't raise money for them, doesn't get in on their nefarious little backroom deals, doesn't defend their nonsense on talk shows, etc. he's been almost as critical of Dems as Republicans.

So the DNC is NEVER going to give him their nomination, any more than they'd give to a Republican. Imagine if the Dems decided to give the Democratic nomination to John McCain because he had a career of bipartisanship. Bernie is basically the same thing.
