A lot are looking at things like COL increases and one party claims they're gonna lower prices and lower taxes and they don't think about all the benefits they get from certain policies that are likely to be reversed and seem to think the biggest government budget is foreign aid, so all you have to do is cut that to solve the problems.

I've been impressively oblivious to things for quite long periods of time, so I wouldn't put it past people.
Twitch streamer rather than Youtuber and not broadly popular either afaik (but was decently well known within the niche community), but Dode. Was also an SMWcentral mod. Kept platforming certain transphobes and eventually got kicked from his mod position and then banned and the community distanced themselves and he quit streaming. Seems like he also got banned on speedrun.com?
Probably not surprising that a community full of trans and other LGBT persons isn't decided they don't like transphobia?

Recently, one of my moms was ranting about how corrupt Biden was for pardoning his son (she didn't even know what he was charged for - I got her to look it up and then her response was basically "well, he deserved it anyways because of corruption). Later the same day, we were talking about how Musk was abusing his position to fire people investigating his companies and my moms responses were "that's smart".
