God money's not looking for the cure
God money's not concerned about the sick among the pure
God money, let's go dancing on the backs of the bruised
God money's not one to choose

Pretty apt for the times...

I know most are not fans of AI, but summarizing Ben Shapiro videos without having to watch them is a pretty good use case

Gemini Video Summary
Here is a summary of the video, broken down into key points:

  • Ben Shapiro's position: The video discusses Ben Shapiro's challenging position, as he tries to balance his disagreements with the Trump administration and the financial requirements of The Daily Wire [00:00].
  • Daily Wire's Financial Issues: The video references a deep dive on YouTube by Jose, which highlights The Daily Wire's financial troubles. These issues are attributed to the company's entertainment ambitions [00:41].
  • Criticism of Trump and Navarro: The video mentions Shapiro's attempt to influence Trump to heed more sensible conservatives and to dismiss Peter Navarro. It criticizes Navarro's trade deficit formula and tariff policies [02:06].
  • Candace Owens and Anti-Semitism: The video touches on Ben Shapiro's past association with Candace Owens, pointing out that he overlooked her anti-Semitic remarks until she criticized Israel [05:15].
  • Trump's behavior: The video also includes a discussion about Donald Trump, referencing his past comments and behavior [08:40].

The context here is that they were both part of the group of newly sworn in US Attorneys, Joyce for Alabama and Preet for the southern district of NY (Manhattan, essentially).

For anyone who's interested, Preet Bharara has a free podcast called Stay Tuned with Preet, and he and Joyce Vance (no relation to the couch fucker) have a paid podcast called Cafe Insider. Both are great for legal insights into current events.

My (now ex-) wife had a rough pregnancy, with our daughter ending up being born about 2 months premature. Her OB said that any future pregnancies would result in her being on bed rest after about 3 months. While we had originally wanted 2 kids, we made the decision that I should get snipped. Got it done on Thursday morning and spent the weekend playing video games with an ice pack on my nuts. One of the best decisions I've ever made.

I thought it was the raping.

Unfortunately, the "voting for your kids" idea is already in their heads.

Even if the global birth rate dropped to ~1.75 kids per woman (currently it's around 2.3), it would still take over 150 years for the world population to fall to half its current level. We are in no danger of humans becoming endangered, except by our own hands. I believe this is 100% related to him being an asshole.

Obligatory Patrice O'Neal retort:

"I do a lot of stuff to protect myself. I keep my receipts. I collect receipts 'cause that's a trail of where you been, man. Everywhere I go I get a receipt. And I never go more than a half hour without buying something cause you could kill somebody in a half hour, and then you need an alibi."

Soros gets blamed not because he is a democratic billionaire, but because he's a [[[certain kind]]] of democratic billionaire.

One of my favorite stats to pull out in regards to this:

What states have had the most votes for Trump (2016, 2020, 2024)?

Texas 16,968,991
