I cried like a baby watching Titanic and Interstellar. I also cried at the end of WALL*E

Mine is a bit embarrassing. The first computer that was actually mine was an ACER desktop computer that had Windows Vista on it. The memes about Vista aren't exaggerating. It was quite possible the most unstable OS I've ever used. The concentration of blue screens is unmatched to this day and it was a horrible RAM hog

Intel Core 2 Duo? 4 GB DDR3 RAM?

Cretaceous period intensifies

Same. Lemmy reminds me of how Reddit used to be ages ago. Discussions are actually elaborate and thoughtful. The quality of content is so much better. I fear if Lemmy gets too big the quality of content will decline

My guess is that the posts and comments will still be visible but if you click on a username or a post it'll just redirect you to an error page

I remember people using tools such as Greasemonkey to redact comments on Reddit using scripts to mass-replace the content of their comments with babble. If comments don't get truly deleted when they are deleted or can be brought back up in some way, then editing comments to replace the content of them with babble is better. That's my two coins anyway. I think something similar is happening here. Another factor could be that some instances might not federate comment deletions as well as they do with edits

Every time someone mentions NFT's, I think of this gem and its sequel
