My purity test is that anyone who uses the term "purity test" unironically is either braindead or an establishment clown.

They have no right for cameras in public.

I'm pretty sure they do. That comes along with the word "public". This sounds like ICE telling observers to stop filming.

Collecting the footage from thousands of cameras and turning it into a giant surveillance system to track everyone is a different matter, and that's what needs to be made illegal.

But there are an estimated 100-400 billion stars in the Milky Way, some of which are hundreds of solar masses, not to mention the Accretion disks of black holes all kicking out radiation. That's gotta add up to something, even with the inverse-square law fall off. The galactic core has unfathomable levels of radiation and puts out its own galactic wind, and some stars have observable bow shocks with it.

Every planet is a star which wasn't big enough. Some are just more challenged than others.

They should not have that expectation right now if they have been paying any attention at all.

I'm not trying to blame the victim here, but why would anyone not born in the US willingly board an aircraft in anything but the most pressing of circumstances right now? Are people really this oblivious to what's going on in this country? Are we still thinking it "can't happen here"? It's happening people.

I'm not sure the oath of office requires impotent demands for legislative actions that are guaranteed to go nowhere. I think it's pretty well understood that the Democrats are in favor of impeachment.

There are a whole lot of things that a whole lot of Democrats could or should be doing that aren't being done, but this really isn't one of them. In fact, it's one of the weakest things they could be doing.

including a plethora of unions

If there iwas anything that pissed me off more than the Democrats abandoning support for workers it was union leadership doing so.

I completely agree that LLMs aren't intelligent. On the other hand, I'm not sure most of what we call intelligence in human behavior is any more intelligent than what LLMs do.

We are certainly capable of a class of intelligence that LLMs can't even approach, but most of us aren't using it most of the time. Even much (not all) of our boundary pushing science is just iterating algorithms that made the last discoveries.

I solved that for most of them by going AMD with my last upgrade. No more binary drivers solved most of my issues. All that's left is really the anti-cheat kernel garbage. For that I just decided fuck it. I found it easier to stomach changing some gaming preferences than the Microsoft ecosystem.

I finally went 100% Linux and I'm never going back.

It might be even better if they do. Given Trump's falling approval ratings among Hispanics, the math Republicans used for those districts is likely to come back and vote them in the ass anyways.
