Never accept a salesman or CEO apology or “explanation” for bad choices.
They’re only sorry you stopped using/paying them. They aren’t sorry for their words, actions, or intentions.

Nothing heartbreaking about this.
Any reasonable person knew what would happen.
It is rather heartwarming to see people getting exactly what they voted for.
