AI needs to be treated with calm patience. It needs to be contained and observed so we can realise its potential in a safe, contained environment. Instead we're immediately using it to replace what the wealthy don't have and can never possess. Born-in talent. Artistry, humour. It's what you can't buy. It makes the people capable of creativity high value. And we can't have that, can we?

Are you Chuck Schumer?
Being regected for being too long. What a conundrum.
Those numbers are off. It takes me about half an hour to cook a meal. I clean while things are cooking if I can. And it takes me about the same time to eat. I get that it's a joke, but it's entirely unrealistic unless you're doing things very wrong.
So if I get a job Macdonalds it has to be "cool" and pay enough for me to retire on in a few months? Fuck right off.
They are, by definition, not having a private conversation. It's just parrots looking in a mirror. They genuinely think we are impressed by what they have to say. Source: grew up with a narcissist. He was wearing a Bluetooth earpiece 100% of the time until like 2020.
To translate your message: "Libertarians wrongly believe they are kings and masters." Evidenced by the famous Highlander line "There can be only one!"
I mean. You already pay for your road and the ambulance that can drive down it to save your life. Why would you pay more to utilise the same overburdened service? Unless you're going to pay to build a hospital, fire station, etc. what's the point? And then the maintenance bills. Libertarians cannot wait to spend all of their money on things we currently help them pay for. (I'm Canadian by the way, just to explain the paid ambulance part)
Looking at the comments lately, it's very obvious that Lemmy inherited the last exodus of 4chan and the scum pool that is left of Reddit. Why do so many people not grow up? Why are so many people internally immature? Why the fuck do we have to deal with their inadequacies? Arguing a joke is utter nonsense. Do you not get that? It's a joke. It's already nonsense. You look like fucking idiots and you bring a bad vibe to good things. And you know that I'm talking to you... you child.
Ron Howard: "It was."
I was born in the late 80s and they had so much fun that we could smell it throughout the 90s. Maybe even into the early 00s.
It shouldn't. That's not how it works.
