Not exactly what I was expecting to happen, but it's nice to be surprised sometimes.

I'm not sure if that was the original intent of the writers, but that's how I think of it anyway!

They filmed a version of the scene with Klingon opera instead, but it wasn't nearly as fun in my opinion. Plus, the Klingons were supposed to have felt that the singing was dishonorable, and they been shown to sing Klingon songs on duty.
