Resource hidden where we can't see it? Best to assume it's infinite and there will be no repercussions.

Last night was bad (far east side of toronto... like Durham Region). It was over 180 and not only could I smell the smoke from inside the house, but my eyes were burning, too.

Having flashbacks to the fires from a couple of years ago. We were nowhere near (these were the Quebec fires IIRC) but outdoor AQI was bad for weeks, regularly topping 300 and peaking at 4-500. Had everything closed up, AC and multiple HEPA purifiers running, and it was still awful indoors.

This is going to require more dramatic response

My overactive imagination has been feeding me images of the parade lines of tanks rotating the barrel to the grandstand as they pass and doing a little dip as a salute of sorts. And then, in the last row, bam, live round. Instant hero.

I know it's not going to happen, but a guy can dream, right?

And just look at all those anchor babies.

Not sure if I'm being whooshed here... but Reagan's VP went on to become president, whose son also became president after his other son, who was governor of a state, threw a wrench in that state's election machine to muddy the waters, leading to contested recounts, interrupted by a "mob," leading to the Supreme Court saying it's too dangerous to continue, and awarding said state's electoral votes to Reagan's VP's son, effectively handing him the presidency. The American people got two wars out of the deal and a veritable Who's Who list of Bush family associates whose names keep popping up suspiciously even to the present day.

Unless you're saying that Vance is just as knee-deep in the backstage corruption, in which case I agree, he's a dangerous slimeball.

The problem is that there are people behind the scenes goose-stepping on regardless.

The good news is that the mic is a piece of cake (relatively speaking, as someone who has tinkered with electronics before) to disconnect. Will it throw any errors/refuse to boot? Dunno, haven't seen that attempted yet.

This is the sort of thing that could be actionable, in criminal or civil court.

This is something that even larger corps struggle with. My old company would buy some other company, lay off a bunch of people, others would quit, and then it was shocked Pikachu faces all around when That One Thing stopped working in an office they turned into a ghost town and, well, no, nobody was going to be there until Monday morning to power cycle etc. True lights out/OOB reachability is WORK. And there's always going to be a SPOF somewhere that requires hands on-site.

Do what you can, when you can. And thank you for all that y'all have done so far.

I don't even know how many MP3s you can store with 400 qubits.

That's ridiculous. Nobody knows how long a gallon is.
