Hokkaido is also a type of ice cream. Apparently available elsewhere, too. The rest of the text is chinese (at least, deepl recognizes it as such)

It was not that long ago when Android changed my on screen keyboard to a different layout whenever I was in a different country. Really annoying - I don't suddenly type in Danish when I'm on a business trip to Lyngby (near Copenhagen)

webp is not fully supported by safari and webview on iOS; they cannot export images as image/webp using the toDataUrl or toBlob from a canvas element

Since yesterday (or the day before?) I'm no longer able to zoom in on images. This very annoying, especially for images that have an aspect ratio that does not match my phones'. - e.g very wide or very tall images.

Middle name is not a thing where I live. People can have 1 or more given names (I know of people that have 9), but none of these are considered 'middle name'.

If children are taught to read by AI there is no shot they don't teach them wrong and change language forever. in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

Do you really assume that language does not change if there is no AI involved in teaching? Try reading texts from a century – or even 50 years – ago.

I am not an AI fan but your argument is just fearmongering.
