Credit card charges need to be transparent and charged directly to the user and not the merchant. Otherwise there is no downward pressure on pricing and Canadian consumers will continue to get ripped off.

I'm talking about recording your trips using your phone and GPS. That way if your company say you were travelling 32kmph over the speed limit at 09:45 on July 15th 2025, you can confirm or refute their claim. I doubt the company is going to provide you with the GPS tracks along with their claim so you'll need your own.

You should keep your own records so you can confirm or refute any claims made by your company. There are loads of apps that will store your trips on your device (no cloud rubbish).
