That’s it. That’s my post.

Edit. Looks like it was actually over 12 million protesters. Holy shit! Well over 3.5 of the voting population, not to mention the general population. Noice!

Edit #2. As lot of commenters are claiming the parade attendance was less than 10k. I have not yet been able to independently verify either number yet, as the situation is still fluid.

But regardless, it’s clear the parade was a flop, and the protests were a success. USA! 🇺🇸

Look, I'm not one to over-romanticize hope that the U.S. military will choose the right side in upholding their duty to resist unlawful orders. Some will. Some won't. We'll see. But, lol, I do suspect there's malicious compliance. And as I keep seeing pics with military members looked absolutely miserable and sullen in the Orange Toddler's Big Boy B-Day Parade yesterday, I am cracking up. They were probably supposed to put on a big proud show for Dear Leader, and they didn't (or did a very bad job - perhaps on purpose). Trump's abuse of the military in this way is so disrespectful. But, I feel like some in there are really trying to show they aren't interested in being treated like toys in some draft-dodger's dipshit propaganda. This one in particular from WaPo got me:

ICE agents at an immigration courthouse. Look how these masked monsters laugh about “taking one or taking all” when the lawyer says they have families.

He treated them like the "suckers and losers" he's called them.

Millions of Americans took to the streets around the country. Unarmed. Peaceful. A big tent that mobilized lots of different people.

Meanwhile the army looked pathetic surrounded by tanks and robot dogs. They had to march for an old man's birthday who felt the need to lie about what the march was for. He tried to goad protesters to come because he couldn't get any crowds.

Shout out to the organizers yesterday who had some really smart ideas like not protesting the parade and switching to the "no kings" slogan from being against "oligarchy".

Keep organizing and keep at it.

Well, there you have it. America 🇺🇸 has spoken. In this day where everyone has a camera in their pocket, the evidence is plain to see if you take the time to look at all the photos and videos people are sharing on social media. In this particular photo of the parade, it's obviously cropped in such a way that you can't see the (relatively small) crowd on the bottom left very well. However, we're talking MILLIONS of protestors vs. thousands of parade attendees. Fascism has no place in America, land of the free, home of the brave. 🇺🇸

That's right, only the George Floyd protests in 2020 and the Earth Day protest in 1970 were bigger.

We have sent a message, loud and clear--We will not accept fascism in America.
