I've long been an advocate for a big tent approach. I don't have to agree with someone on everything to appreciate them for fighting the good fight, or trust them to have my back. At the demonstrations I've been to, I've seen people of many different political persuasions, and I'm proud to call them my allies. As far as I'm concerned, everyone from Bernie Sanders to Adam Kinzinger is my friend, at least until we manage to correct course.

That being said, there are some people we shouldn't let into our movement. We need to have standards. For starters, we don't need people who are anti-Trump not because he's authoritarian, but because he's not the right kind of authoritarian. We don't need tankies who are only against the Trump regime because its jackboots happen to be a color other than red. If Trump were to pay lip service to following the teachings of Karl Marx, I'm sure many of these people would suddenly go around wearing MAGA hats ("He was always one of us! Why else would his hats be red?"). The American Revolution is notable for the fact that it didn't replace one form of tyranny with another. Let's not make the mistake the Founders avoided.

We should also avoid dealing with the truly hateful. I'm sure there are some Archie Bunker types out there whose prejudices stem from ignorance rather than genuine malice, and who might change for the better with experience. Those people I might (and I must emphasize "might") be willing to work with, though if their views don't evolve, don't expect me to stay in contact with them. But for those who actively hate people just because they're different? No dice. I'm not going to work with people who oppose Trump for bigoted reasons, such as anti-Semites who hate Trump because they think he's a puppet of some sinister Jewish conspiracy. Nor am I going to work with people who voted for Trump because they wanted him to hurt groups of people they didn't like and have only started turning against him now because the leopards are feasting on their faces, such as TERFs who liked Trump's anti-trans stances and are only moving against him now because of how he's hurting the female gender. Now, if they sincerely renounce these hateful views, admit that they were wrong, and make an effort to change for the better? That makes things different. But the onus is on them to make that change. And if someone won't work with us to oust Trump because they hate some other group we're fighting for, they probably weren't worth trying to recruit to begin with. There are countless people from all over the political spectrum who don't have these prejudices, so why should we pander to the hateful bigots?

We should also be wary of people for other reasons. Some are just too out of touch with reality to be relied upon. Others are too difficult to work with. Still others are just plain terrible people. I've seen everyone from movement conservatives to anarcho-syndicalists at these demonstrations, and I welcome them if they act in good faith; we can work out our disagreements later. But having a tent big enough for everyone doesn't mean letting everyone in.

Look around:

ICE is breaking into homes without warrants.

A sitting judge was arrested for protecting rights.

Court orders are being openly ignored by federal agencies.

Sensitive data has been breached—then covered up.

This is no longer a slow erosion. This is an active dismantling of constitutional government.

--

We Are in a 4–8 Week Window to Fight Back

Right now, Trump’s team is moving fast to lock in unconstitutional policies before courts and the public can catch up. Every day without mass resistance strengthens their position. If public action doesn’t explode immediately—organized, strategic, overwhelming—then by summer, the balance will tip.

Courts are trying to push back. But without real public force behind them, they will be isolated and neutralized—one judge at a time.

What We Must Do

Non-negotiable actions:

Massive, focused public protests specifically defending the courts and the Constitution—not scattered outrage, but unified pressure.

Crush the silence: hammer Congress with calls, letters, and in-person pressure. Overwhelm their offices every day.

Strengthen legal defenses for whistleblowers, journalists, and judges under threat.

Force local leaders to take sides—no neutrality when constitutional rights are under attack.

The Most Radical (Lawful) Resistance Tools Left

Court defense actions: assemble at courthouses to shield judges and court proceedings from intimidation.

National general strikes: freeze the economy to make the cost of ignoring the Constitution unbearable.

State rebellion against illegal orders: push governors and AGs to reject federal abuses publicly and legally.

Mass civil disobedience campaigns: peaceful but disruptive tactics that force national attention on due process violations.

This isn’t a warning. It’s a countdown.

We have until June. Act like it.

The 505051 movement exists for this moment. Let’s not fail when it matters most.

Long story short fungi overstepped a bit and had some knee jerk reactions, and when national reacted to that he dug in which lead to national clearly taking some questionable actions. He thought the movement was being taken over by pacs and nps and the pacs and nps that were already involved with this movement from jump felt he was trying to take over. As far the sexual gesture there are claims he made that's where the whole legal action threats came about. Doxxing fungi was dead wrong. I was doxxed by right wingers it's not fun. Regardless of what fungi is accused of doing doxxing someone to force there hand isn't ok. Point blank, the trustworthyness of 50501 is very much in question now. Was the group taken over? Was fungi wilding out? No way to know now because all he said she said shit. i personally will be looking to American opposition for leadership on a national level moving foward. Cause 50501 allowing all this shit to happen so publicly is insane and create a situation where idk if we can trust who runs the socials now.

Make sure you call your congressional representatives! Make sure you leave your name and address to they record your message!

Change is on The People. We cannot be distracted or divided by petty drama. This movement is bigger than any mod’s personal life. This movement is about what type of world, what type of country, we want to live in and pass on to future generations.

We are all we have,

We must stand united,

We must look out for our fellow Americans,

And we must not lose steam, because they sure aren’t.

We must welcome everyone to the movement with open arms and stand by each other’s side in solidarity. It has never been more important than right now to learn and abide by our foundational Democratic framework. I propose we make every third Saturday of every month a mass peaceful protest event nationwide, with other events in between. Here’s a link on organizing protests, it’s actually quite easy. https://www.aclu.org/know-your-rights/protesters-rights

See you in the streets.

Trump has now had two federal judges arrested, we can't be quiet about this! I'm trying to get a last minute protest going for tomorrow, 4/26 at the Nebraska state Capitol. Aiming for 1pm to 3pm as a time frame, please help get the word out
