You're absolutely right, it DOESN'T feel good to see so many people getting fucked like this. We SHOULDN'T have to see this in our lifetimes. We're SUPPOSED to be better than this.

But in this day and age, in this absolute clusterfucked circus of a timeline, some people are just so goddamn stupid, so deeply indoctrinated, and stubborn, and hateful, and all the other things we associate with modern Republican voters, that the unfortunate truth is that trying to talk to these people, and warn them of the consequences of their actions, just doesn't work anymore. They don't wanna hear it, and should you try to tell them, they either legitimately don't understand, don't give 2 shits, actively want it, or some combo of all 3 and more.

And so the only option we have left is letting the idiot blow off his fingers with the firecrackers, while trying to contain the fallout, because at this point they simply will not learn, otherwise. It's awful, and terrible, and a nasty way to deal with it, but when the people we're trying to help and save are so adversarial towards anyone trying to help them... all you can do is wait for them to come to you.

NGL memes like this just read like Doomer Cope and Fascist propaganda.

Housing prices in Texas, Florida, and other historically "desirable" states are currently tanking hard with no sign of stopping. This is usually an incredibly reliable indicator of massive strains in the economy, since if people can't afford housing, the generally can't afford ANYTHING. The reason this has flown under the radar thus far is simple: Trump's antics are SO INSANE that they've effectively overshadowed basically everything else that's been going on in America.

Business Insider - Florida Market Coldest in Country

Newsweek - Texas faces massive housing correction

Newsweek - Florida Condo Prices Falling Fast

This is BAD. Add onto this Southern States' insistence on rolling back any and all disease prevention measures, and we have a multifaceted economic crisis in the making.

And this is a prime example of why Terminal Carbrain on a societal scale is TERRIBLE for designing cities. Forcing everyone to drive, instead of using Transit or even walking, DIRECTLY ENCOURAGES behavior that leads to shit like this.

Whatever """regime""" they can scrape together in the economic/ecological hellholes they call "states" won't be enough. The coming AI tech crash, along with the next Housing bubble collapse (that is happening RIGHT NOW in the South, and spreading North!!!!) will wipe out whatever regime they can build, because their zones of antiregulation and social destruction will be hit hardest. That said, I pity the unfortunate sods who want to leave but can't yet; their window is closing pretty quickly, all things considered.

So yeah, run as fast as you can, as far as you can, and DO NOT LOOK BACK.

A close second, or even an equal, would be Sam Altman. His face is practically BEGGING for a fist.

Hey Donny, that's great and all, but where are the Epstein files? Inquiring minds need to know!

Slices, because they're a part of the pie.

When it's stripped down to its bare essentials, yeah. They're a cult founded on internalized hatred and externalized rage; if there's no external target for that rage, it turns inward, and the whole thing self-destructs.

Looks like he's regrowing a leg!
