If you are a shareholder that gets the payout and make a profit.. it sure is. For everyone else... Who are we kidding. Fuck everyone else.
Profits go up if you don't invest in your company but instead pay your shareholders. But at some point you atrophied your R&D so much you have fallen behind and then the question becomes, do you bleed it dry and sell it for parts, or revitalize by investing. And if revitalizing is still viable.
That is a distinction without a difference.
Why the down votes?
Well, governments cannot keep lowering taxes and then claiming they have no money. Well, raise taxes on the rich and on companies then.
Because it's only loss.
If you throw a bunch of investments or R&D costs into this year, you can all of a sudden have a huge financial loss while having positive cashflow.
Same is true for buying other companies, depreciation and other fuckery with stuff like "goodwill".. or you just paid off a massive loan to an actual creditor, bought back stocks, or moved cash to your offshore holding to dodge taxes (in the form of renting your own IP from your own company in said tax haven)... The list is nearly endless.
The point is, in most countries a loss can be spread out over multiple years to offset profits. Meaning you don't have to pay taxes on the profits.
I have no clue how veterans can support this guy. If their service meant as much to them as the American idlozation of vets suggests.

I don't get what you are trying to argue. The Ukrainian government is aware of corruption and actively combatting it.
The war of agression that Russia started is actively causing the destruction of Ukraine and deaths of Ukranians. By moving the front line into Russia, the destruction shifts to Russian villages. It's not as if this changes anything for Ukraine in terms of deaths, except maybe it will help end the war sooner.

The democrats tried everything except for actually grappling with the subject. Now blaming the voters completely misses the point .. that the dems where supporting Israel and clearly stated they would continue the current path. Trump had the decency to lie to the constituents. And now they cope by convincing themselves it's part of his plan. The voters where duped.. but the Dems did this.. not the voters.
