yes, of course that's going to be a big thing. You cannot tell me your against investments into sectors that will provide jobs (not talking about these two of course but in general)?
sigh....fuck cars....they are never going to go away. Listen I'm not allowed to drive and rely on public transit, and wish there was more investment in that, but going around saying "fuck cars" is not going to fly with like 99% of people.
I understand this, but you have a realize, how much of the province of ontario is toronto? you have to have a outside lens to things when you see the criticism people have when they see "XYZ toronto" and not their city. Things like this are going to enamor their hate for the city and cheer on doug ford for "Cutting the waste" that their city could of used.
i don't think everyone is broke, I think people refuse to adjust their spending habits in a time of inflated cost. LCBO is busy as ever, if you wanna see a busy restaurant, go to McDonalds, and what they charge for a meal for a family of 4 is bonkers so it ain't cheap either. Why are "premium" clothing brands still busy stores? TEMU has customers coming out of the wazoo from people buying what i like to call "useless junk". I am one who struggles with very low income, and had to adjust my spending habits to bare minimum. I think that's a mega pill a lot of people don't want to swallow, based on how it's been for some time before this recent issue with pricing.
I have to admit, the way the bike lanes were planned in some spots in Toronto were not well thought out. for example, the bike lane on Huntingwood drive in Scarborough is imo underutilized, i never see anyone use it other than maybe the very odd biker, and the ones that use it the most if i do see anyone on it, is e-bikes/e-scooters. I think bike lanes make sense if they are installed in areas that are utilized correctly. im assuming the downtown ones are used quite frequently, but I don't go downtown much to see that.

You must be very miserable to go Into every job you have that's even min wage to think like this. Yeah it's not a cakewalk but dooming and glooming at work is anti-social behavior and sure talking about it with co-workers is great and fine it's good to have someone who gets you, but your also going to try to make the best out of your time at work. I'm by no means rich or Wealthy and quite the opposite but I enjoy my life still because I know that I'm alive and I get some sense of enjoyment from it.
Thanks for the laugh.
What do you mean? It will be the "right" type of people.
ok you can relax with the death threats. no need to stoop to that level of rude behavior.
