i don't think everyone is broke, I think people refuse to adjust their spending habits in a time of inflated cost. LCBO is busy as ever, if you wanna see a busy restaurant, go to McDonalds, and what they charge for a meal for a family of 4 is bonkers so it ain't cheap either. Why are "premium" clothing brands still busy stores? TEMU has customers coming out of the wazoo from people buying what i like to call "useless junk". I am one who struggles with very low income, and had to adjust my spending habits to bare minimum. I think that's a mega pill a lot of people don't want to swallow, based on how it's been for some time before this recent issue with pricing.
