Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

[–] RestrictedAccount@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago

Because we love that Donny

[–] AartKwarktaart@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

You're out of your element here!

No one is as deranged as Trump himself.

Can’t wait to party for a week straight when this terrible piece of shit dies

[–] chuckleslord@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Where is the week strait? Is it near Friday island?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 36 points 3 days ago

Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.

[–] shittydwarf@piefed.social 31 points 3 days ago (2 children)

There will be a very long lineup to piss on Trump's grave

[–] frustrated_phagocytosis@fedia.io 15 points 3 days ago (1 children)

We should think carefully about where to put it to maximize local benefits from all the people visiting to piss there

[–] MBech@feddit.dk 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Can I sell beer in the vicinity? I'm not looking to make a profit, just wanna contribute any way I can.

[–] 0_o7@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 days ago

He's going to be buried in one of his golf courses and visiting his grave will cost a kidney. His cult will have no problem with that arrangement.

Fraud doesn't die when it's a family business.

Stay classy, Pedonald.

I thought not revering a murder victim and implying that it was their fault in any way was unacceptable and you should lose your job for it. Also that the murder victim needs statues and state-supported political clubs in every high school in the US. What changed?

Got the same energy as...

except The Rock's tweet was fake and the dementia-ridden man child's is not.

[–] kbobabob@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 3 days ago

Same energy? So it's supposed to be a joke?

I'm sure we'll be hearing a huge handful from everyone that attacked those who dared to speak badly about kirk after he died any minute now!

That’s an interesting way to baselessly suggest he was assassinated by somebody from MAGA.

[–] chaogomu@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Their son was arrested. I have no idea if he's maga, or even if he actually did it. We'll likely hear all about it when it all comes out.

What I do know is that the Reiner's lived in the same rough neighborhood that Nicole Brown Simpson lived in after she left OJ. The houses are about a mile apart.

Yeah, I heard.

Wonder how close he lived to Jose Menendez.

Donald Trump will die to—shit, I don’t know—all the diseases at once?

“Invincible…”

“Sir, no, not at all, even a tiny breeze could—“

“Invincible…”

[–] drdiddlybadger@pawb.social 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Trump is a piss baby. Everything has to be about him especially someone else dying.

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Mr. President, just think of how much more attention you would get if you died right now!

[–] drdiddlybadger@pawb.social 2 points 3 days ago

We would totally make his death day a holiday just for him!

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

Glad conservatives made sure we all have to know what a low IQ felon rapist thinks.

[–] tidderuuf@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

He's got to distract even harder these days because of the Epstein files.

[–] tym@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Another "beautiful people" comment -- add them to the list alongside the two MN politicians and their families.

[–] qarbone@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

.....really makes it hard to avoid falling to conspiracy theories when he's projecting this hard.
