This could be work or recreational related. Anything you've done that you sit back and go "hell yeah I did that". I'm typically wary of working on cars because I have big hands and no auto specialty tools. But, I was able to make a pretty involved (for me) repair last week and I've felt really great about it since. What about you?

I have a 20 week streak going for exercise, both cycling and lifting weights, with 77 days total that I've exercised on. For the last 8 weeks, I've been active for at least 25 minutes every day of the week, even if it's just walking the dogs. My blood pressure is down an average of nine points and my pants are getting loose again.

Today was rough. It was a bit too cold and windy for good cycling, and the route I picked (because I thought it would be better protected from the wind) had a lot of hills. I only managed to ride 12 miles in the same amount of time it normally takes me to ride 15.

But goddamn it, I did it anyway.

I have set myself some goals this year. Broke them down into many smaller in between goals. And so far I achieved many of them. The most difficult ones are still pending, but yay for me.

I got some business finance to build a vertical slice of my game which I can hopefully launch on Kickstarter to make the rest of it.

It's a lot of work but the prototype was fun and there's lots of interesting stuff to do but could only get about a third of what I wanted, financially.

Exciting and also kind of anxiety inducing. Clocks ticking.

I made @Ulrich@feddit.org lose their shit and go on a mass reporting spree on my comments. 🤣

reminds me of that scene in clerks 2

I made fun of OpenAI so hard, it made some super geek puke all over the counter. Where do we keep the mop and bucket so I can have Elias clean it up?

I just replaced the flex tube p traps with regular p traps under all the sinks in the house we just purchased. Never did it before. Plumber wanted $600 to do 2 of them. No thanks!

Spending a lot less time on my phone and actually being productive and getting back into reading. My attention span has also greatly improved since "dumbifying" my phone; no socials (including fedi accounts), no browser, no Youtube. Just calls and music. I feel so much better and my mental health has improved because of it.

I've always wanted to drum. I've been finally learning and I can now play along with several of my favorite songs and it makes me so happy
