What's interesting to me is that sedition and treason are acts against the state, not any particular representative of the state. But he's clearly thinking he is the state, not just a representative. L'État, c'est moi much?

When Trump was tried for Seditious Conspiracy, he learned his first new word in a while.
Looks like he's learned two new words, his mind is clearly fine.
He also learned a poor people word - "groceries". Apparently he never realized that was a thing and is still somewhat perplexed by the idea.

By repeating those words, they're trying to dilute the meaning of them so that previois (and probably future) accusations against them lose some of their weight and importance. If everything is sedition and treason, then nothing is.
