how to people even find these relevant XKCD's?
it's as if there's someone who has read ALL of the XKCDs...

[–] amateurcrastinator@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

What's your point?

Also that's an awesome find!

[–] somerandomperson@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Like...how do people just find the exactly similar XKCD every. damn. time???

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago

people

The trick is, there's a lot of those

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 day ago

I've definitely read all the XKCDs at one point, though that might've been about a decade ago so I'm not sure if I've read ALL the newer ones after that. Definitely been trying to keep up though.

What's with kid's these days wanting oxygen? My kids didn't ever ask for anything at all.

[–] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 days ago

Right? When I was a kid we didn't need all these fancy buckets and soft toilet paper. We just started to work at 14 and get our own house at 15, paying the full 2000$ cash. Bunch of snowflakes.

$1200 per month plus utilities

plus utilities

The bucket...

[–] I_am_10_squirrels@beehaw.org 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Utilities are bottled water and emptying the bucket

If you empty the bucket yourself you lose your entire deposit.

I saw a company presenting a silent gaming mask thing for use with VR, it was basically a combination of a gasmask, ear defenders and a microphone...

Looked a bit kinky...

Me and my friends were looking for something fun to do during our weekend hangout and we stumbled upon this [dome]. Let me tell you, we had a blast using it to make our very own geodesic dome!

“So me and the boys was just having some brews, postulating that Riemann’s impoverished upbringing likely led to the health issues that robbed the world of the shining star singularly embodying the superego, when we stumbled upon this little ditty.”

Who the hell thinks this sounds remotely believable? AI writes the most ridiculous reviews

Soundproof can only be achieved in a vacuum space, so 🤔 isded

[–] Mikina@programming.dev 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Couldn't you just tape the music studio triangle sound/echo dampeners (or whatever it's called) around the exterior, and add a floor that has those subwoofer dampening triangle legs (to limit contact with the floor for vibration transference)?

[–] not_me@piefed.social 1 points 2 days ago

Great idea ,going to patent that

Yeah. Magnetically supported sphere balanced in a rigorously maintained vacuum! It's great!

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Because the ad is AI slop. At best they'll send some similar product, at worst they'll just take your money and won't even send the brick in the box.

"Solve your kid problems with this one simple trick"

I mean the lengths that people will go to make kids and then pretend like they don't exist is astonishing. "Lets make a kid and eagerly wait for the day we will send him to a boarding school". I haven't checked if this actually exists but wouldn't be entirely suprised if it did.
