I sometimes eat raw pasta when I'm cooking pasta and I'm impatiently checking if it's ready after 2 minutes

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 5 points 5 days ago

I love pasta too much. damn...I got to lose some weight...!

I once ate a whole 500g bag. I was 17 and a god somehow I got away without even so much as a stomach ache.

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Occasionally, when cooking pasta. But I eat it always very al dente, so in kind of used. And every time if I make gnocchi. Raw gnocchi are as good as cooked!

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 6 points 6 days ago (1 children)

raw gnocchi is the best! I thought it was pronounced g-NOCH-i and not no-chi. and not me being 75% italian...!

[–] biggerbogboy@sh.itjust.works 5 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Wait I thought it was pronounced nyo-ki? Maybe it's my Aussie accent

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago

it is, I just spelled it weird

I don't browse privately at work and I don't eat raw pasta at work. Some things should only be done when home, I mean come on.

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago (1 children)

who said anything about browsing privately? also, I work mostly from home, rarely in the office. eating raw pasta at work would be...interesting.

I just needed an example for things that should definitely not be carried out at work. We all eat raw pasta from time to time. But the colleagues just wouldn't understand...

[–] Korne127@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

Not just while working, but yeah, I regularly eat raw pasta since I've been a small child :>

[–] ccunning@lemmy.world 6 points 6 days ago

No, not while working…

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago

Raw uncooked ramen is pretty good imo. It's used in some salad recipes.

I ate pasta raw when I was really hungry and had nothing that's actually edible in my room. It tasted horrible, never again.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago

That sounds incredibly unpleasant to the teeth and with sn awful sound to boot

[–] 0ops@piefed.zip 3 points 5 days ago

While cooking

[–] m3t00@piefed.world 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)
