Does anybody know why he ended up shooting those two particular guardsmen? It all seems so odd, why target them out of anyone? Was it location, or the first people he saw? Its all just so odd.

The shooter likely was pissed that he fought for 20 years helping USA in Afghanistan, while risking his family, likely burning every bridge he had in that country to help his family escape the Taliban, and these racist pieces of shit that took over after the election told him to pound sand after all that effort, and ICE deported his family back into the Taliban anyways.
It likely is that, im not overly fond of making a judgement based off feeling alone, but it feels like thats really the only answer possible. Things are really getting bad fast.
