To be fair, if you get invited to what is ostensibly a party on Halloween, then it's expected that you should dress up unless it's explicitly stated otherwise.

Also if you're hosting a party just assume it'll happen because people have multiple parties and/or going out to the club to get laid, they aren't going to come drink wine and then go home and get into costume...
In the US, sure, not so much anywhere else. Halloween is not at all as big in most of the world as it is in the US, so if you want people to dress up it has to be explicitly stated on the invite.
Grown ups can drink wine in costume: source, I took my DnD group to a biergarten with great seasonal gluhwein. We wore costumes and played a quick (6 hour) one shot from about 5 to 11. Even got some spectators and well wishers I love biergartens when I'm feeling social.
Drinking wine is better in costume especially if the costume is vampire.
The only movie that was so scary I legit had to stop it (only after a third, nothing really even happened yet).
Why are all the captions being posted as spoilers? I get an error any time I try to remove them.
Alt text for people who may have impaired vision.
I get that too, are you using sync
I am and it's like that constantly. I'll never see the bonus panels on SMBC comics because of it.
Yes
The dev abandoned sync, you should switch to something else
Transcription for blind people, so there's not a huge body of text for everyone else
I never thought of putting it in a spoiler. That seems like a thoughtful accommodation
Because you aren’t using a real client like Voyager.
That's why you make children. So you have an excuse to desguise yourself!
Only kind of related, but did you guys know that in the UK, they call dressing up in a costume like this "fancy dress"? Weird.
And then you put it all in a fancy dress box
Great horror Movie. Baabaadooook.
