This happened back in August.

But since the headline is unclear, the ICE agent was driving drunk. At 3:30 in the afternoon. With his kids in the car.

Full video is worth a watch. The arresting officer had a DUI 2yrs ago and had no sympathy for the agent the longer the stop went on, even told the agent to "man up and deal with it." The agent thought he'd be let go since he's also in law enforcement, but the cop wasn't having it.

Pretty funny bodycam footage too, the last bit is really good

That is 100% not what I got from the headline.

If you really want to creatively interpret it, the ICE agent stopped someone for DUI and then turned to his deputy and asked "Am I Haitian???"

That's legitimately what I read

This is exactly the kind of dumbass racist loser you expect to find working at ICE. Not even qualified to take care of his own children but ICE is happy to let him run around in a mask with a gun and kidnap people.

Deputy Jonathan Lane walked up to Deiseroth’s window asked him where he was going and where he thought he was. Deiseroth said he was on the 18-Mile Stretch driving back to Miami after spending the day in Islamorada, according to the deputy’s body camera footage. He was actually at least 70 miles south of the Stretch and driving the opposite way from Miami.

Deiseroth, who had his 7- and 9-year-old sons in the truck, reluctantly agreed to exit the pickup, but tried to appeal to Lane and other deputies on the scene to let him go because he, too, works in law enforcement. He also told Lane he was going through a divorce and said he’d lose his kids if he was arrested, the footage shows.

He deserves to lose more than his kids. He blew .174, with his kids in the car, and didn't know where he was or where he was headed. On top of that, he threatened the arresting officers and continued to make threats even after he was arrested. He should be locked up for a good long while.

Yeah and for those that haven't given through the Keys, other than some side streets in the major islands there's like, literally one road. Idk how you fuck up going the correct way home on the ONE ROAD there is....

Perfectly okay for someone who drives drunk in the middle of the day to also walk around with a gun all day, while being permitted to use that gun under particular any circumstances.
