Oh I love this idea, we should have a Lemmy LAN Party community where we can organize play dates. Have events where we can play old games together like Red Alert, Quake Arena, or Worms.
Linux Gaming
Discussions and news about gaming on the GNU/Linux family of operating systems (including the Steam Deck). Potentially a $HOME away from home for disgruntled /r/linux_gaming denizens of the redditarian demesne.

Keep me in the loop if we plan those, I can probably make time.
Yea I don't want to make the community, but I'll subscribe.

Maybe put that in a spoiler ? It's very long.
Whats the spoiler markup for your instance? Piefed.world still runs on 1.1.5 so theres no button to automate that.
I think standard spoiler syntax on fediverse apps is
Spoiler Title
Content with formatting
Try encasing it with three ` symbols one line above and below it, or you can use the \ backslash escape symbol before the formatting, that way people can see what it is you typed.
```
code block here
Huh, that is what I'm used to but my app manages it in line as well though normally I would do inline code like this anyways.
Oh this sounds fun. I'll definitely check it out
Factorio server
Ooh!
Zombie
Oh. Well, I'm sure someone will have fun, but this won't be the server for me. I don't enjoy the zombie motif.
Still, I'm glad you're doing this. I love to see things that build a sense of community here!
For your own safety, I hope that's not the public IP of your home network, probably nothing bad will happen if it is, but for any bad actor, it's too easy to mess with someone knowing their IP.
Lmao nah servers in London
Idk how well Factorio hides users details once connected tho
For the users connecting is less risky because they shouldn't have to open ports.
