Haha seriously though, the amount people project onto animals sometimes is hilarious. This was on my local lost pets Facebook as a serious reply.

My wife is bad about projecting her own emotions onto our dogs. I'm sure I do it too.

He's a good boy and I'm sure he got treats, like we do when we give blood.
Ears down means the dog is scared.
People are absolutely terrible about projecting feelings and thoughts onto animals, dogs in particular.
It makes me sad because a lot of dogs live in perpetual anxiety and discomfort because their owners treat them like cute lil' babies no matter what they do, ignoring their behavior and conditions that makes their stress worse.

Yup, and arguably better
My childhood dog donated blood a lot and visited other dogs who were sick/injured. My dad worked as a vet tech, which is why our dog donated so much and got to visit the other dogs.
