Do you mean Epstein ball room?

[–] Damage@feddit.it 12 points 5 days ago

Epstein-ball room

[–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 6 points 5 days ago

It's named after the ball pit for the children to play in.

Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Ballroom

[–] asg101@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 4 days ago

Has anyone else heard that tRump is planning to bury the Epstein Files in the foundation of the Epstein Ballroom?

[–] MilitantAtheist@lemmy.world 21 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Ballroom? You mean the Pedo Pavilion?

called Epstein ballroom.

always call it that. if enough people do that it'll be the actual name stated on Wikipedia.

like ACA was informally called Obamacare, but now calling it Obamacare is the proper term

Epstein Ballroom

[–] sirico@feddit.uk 14 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I actually thought it was the head of an R2 unit at first until I re-read the title

I’m sorry, this is waaaaaaay better than that gaudy 3rd rate piece of trash that’s actually being built.

Back in the day, the GOP was in a tizzy because Obama put his feet on the office desk.

Aren't you a little short for a death star?

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 6 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I'd actually be down for the ballroom if it looked like that.

[–] Peppycito@sh.itjust.works 12 points 5 days ago (4 children)

I'm okay with destruction when it suits my esthetic

[–] MBech@feddit.dk 12 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I mean, it's not the first time part of the white house has been torn down or renovated. What I personally dislike about this isn't that they're changing the white house. It's that they're changing the white house to accomodate Trumps constant need to be the center of attention.

It'd be silly to keep the white house as built (Or reconstructed) in 1817, since it's actually being used, and is very much a workplace, but this renovation is just Trump needing somewhere in-house to host lavish dinner parties to be the center of attention.

So yes, I am absolutely okay with destruction when it suits my esthetic.

Or the lack of any transparency or planning.... Anyone else try to do this s*** especially democratic the Republicans would be up in arms.... No individual should be able to unilaterally make these changes that's not what the president's job is

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 4 points 5 days ago

It's more the honesty of intentions, with creating it in the first place.

The Emperor demands obedience, after all. amirite?

[–] Damage@feddit.it 4 points 5 days ago

Who says it's going to be FULLY OPERATIONAL?

[–] Samskara@sh.itjust.works -1 points 5 days ago

Trump building a ballroom no skirting the bureaucracy is one the lest bad things he has done. I‘m actually surprised he hasn’t started construction of a much more monumental building in Washington or elsewhere. Trump loves building and autocrats love to build monuments to their ego.

Where’d they get the kieber crystals

[–] shatterling@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 days ago

Golden khyber crystals? Funny story how they showered down, we're good for crystals now

[–] Typotyper@sh.itjust.works 4 points 5 days ago

No one commenting on all the trees. Washington is basically on giant cement monument

Is this "AI"? I need to know if it's ok to like. \s

[–] brown567@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

AI is against the community's rules, so it's a good question

[–] Pyr_Pressure@lemmy.ca 0 points 4 days ago

Wait, really? Why? What's the difference between using AI for a photo like this and using Photoshop?

[–] DanVctr@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 days ago

To me it looks like someone took a real picture of the White House and then did a generative fill (AI) on the trees to get the fantasy project

[–] Evil_Shrubbery@thelemmy.club 3 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Right in the trumper!
Terrorists have placed an explosive device down a narrow but exposed Epstein corridor & blew up all the balls in the room.

[–] 2deck@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago

Nuke it from orbit... It's the only way to be sure.

[–] DarthFreyr@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

Taking ball-room a bit literally there, innit?

[–] BigDanishGuy@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 days ago

That's no ballroom

Only way to fix it is to fly a jet into it
