Can DC not yank the business license of the company doing the demolition without permits?

The White House invented a loophole out of thin air to avoid going through proper channels.
Doubtful. They could try but DC has basically zero political autonomy. They’re essentially an internal colony of the US.

Yes. If Democrats get into the WH, they should start on day one. Incorporate the destruction of the Epstein ballroom as part of the inauguration.

They'd have to anyway. There's no way of knowing if there is or isn't listening devices or spyware built in. National security would dictate a full tear down I'd imagine.

Even without any of Epstein disclosures trump is insane, old, bitter and tired and should be removed. It almost seems to me that the democrats are complicit in keeping the trump flame alive. What does this tell us? The obvious answer is that kid diddling is non-partisan.
Hmm...I agree kiddy diddling is nonpartisan even if I quibble with your reasoning here.
Democrats are complicit because both parties are bought and paid for by the same donors.
I hope, one day, we can turn it into low income housing or a dog shelter... one can dream.

It was still complete and utter incompetence. Guaranteed they failed to properly preserve some historical artifacts. Because they didn't have time, there was no visible presence of proper handling by experts. They probably strewed a bunch of asbestos all over the place.
So fear not, there was no sudden burst of competence here.
Oh yeah. They 100% destroyed a very countable number of historic arguments and important documents. And likely lost even more to the construction crew and whoever else was around taking souvenirs.
And yeah. Asbestos is 100% a concern and a LOT of people are likely going to have respiratory issues from the clean-up and just being in the area.
He should go ahead and tear the whole thing down, since the US government's cooked anyway.
Tearing down the White House won't change a damn thing about government corruption. But it sure is evidence of government corruption.
