/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

I don't think late 70s sitcom audiences were ready for graphic depictions of oo-mox

I don’t think any audiences are ready for graphic depictions of oo-mox. 😳

I won't advertise my OonlyMox account then.

I just stick to YooMox and moxnxx and oomoxHamster.

Have you seen the Homogenic album cover? She doesn't even hide she's an alien.

I liked the album where it's all just nature sounds pieced together to make music, but I forget what it's called. I haven't listened to it since it came out.

In a couple years we'll be flooded with ai mashups like this. I predict that in ten years the concept of a "YouTuber" will be less of a personality in front of a camera than it is a prompt artist creating custom content based on whatever meme is popular that day. I predict we will see "new" ai generated episodes of every show ever created. You want to see the new episode of F•R•I•E•N•D•S: "Rachel's Nip Slip"? Click to subscribe- $10.99/mo. You think subscription fatigue is bad now??

We're already halfway there. Not mashups but my YouTube is littered with low effort ai slop with click-bait titles. I've unfortunately come across several where the terrible AI narration doesn't even come close to pronouncing anything close, pointing out very obvious facts, the images vaguely relate to the content, and usual gets facts wrong.

Give it time. Low effort ai slop is the future we're all headed for.

Finally, a good use for AI.
