For anyone curious about the context. Eat a dick, Brian.

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 34 points 2 days ago (1 children)

16 years ago he was using overtly white supremacist language on Fox and Friends. He got a brief vacation for this.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He doesn't live in fear. This is a mistake that should be rectified.

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I'm ok with him being fired for overt racism. We don't need to make him fear for his life though I would be okay with taxing the shit out of him forcing him to move to a less exclusive place.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Honestly, I agree. However the common and average person in life can not fire him, or tax him. Or anything that I would normally class as acceptable to get him to change his ways.

What the common average person can quite easily do is band together and make him question his choices in life.
With that said I also think that the common average people of today will never do that, they are too complacent in life. Unfortunately this is why him, and others like him, get away with the shit they pull.

Until he, and others like him, get some consequences to their actions nothing will change for the better. They will only get worse and worse until bad things happen like they recently did in Nepal

Oh if you mean the wealthy should have a degree of fear that I agree with

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Who said anything about making him fear for his life? There are far worse dates than death, for example you could deglove one of his limbs and shove it into a bucket full of lemon juice and salt.

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The post I replied to said he does not live in fear.

You can tone it down. Not everyone needs to be a victim of a crime against humanity because they are racist and shitty.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's not just about him being racist and shitty, it's the fact he has a mic and audience as well. Also I did not see the part where the previous guy said fear for his life, I am currently rather sick and fucked up on Tylenol.

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

We can just take the mic away though. We do not have to physically torture him. Making him live out life on the margins of poverty should be enough.

I hope you feel better.

Who will perform these executions? As it is, 100% of interviewed former death pentaly workers, who administer the death penalty to convicted criminals (aka "bad guys"), went into the job being for the death penalty and then left the job being against it. Quite unlike humane euthanasia providors for hospice patients, may I add - it isn't just the death causing this. I can't imagine what workers would even be willing to do such a thing. And before you say "psychopaths" - the death penalty workers def had at least 1 or more psychopaths, psyopaths can understand rationale and logic and cognitive empathy.

Easy: if you refuse to give a lethal injection you get one yourself! That will be what the fascists come up with. They are just that stupid.

[–] Daft_ish@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 day ago

I would say AI but looking at how things are going they will just train it to eat ice cream, go to theme parks, and play video games for us.

[–] pivot_root@lemmy.world 24 points 2 days ago (1 children)

What a fool-proof solution, Brian. In fact, it's such a perfect solution that there's no need for any other solution. You should call it "the Final Solution" and see how far you get with that.

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 days ago

They see the comparison as an endorsement, not an insult.

[–] Gerudo@lemmy.zip 20 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Everyone sitting there had a chance to say "woah, hang on a sec". All of them are just as shitty as he is.

[–] trager_bombs@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago

Big agree. Whole Network of fucking psychos under Murdoch's thumb.

[–] trager_bombs@lemmy.world 23 points 2 days ago

Just because that 40 acres of forehead didn't come with a mule don't mean he gotta be a jackass.

[–] modestmeme@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

“In his sixties”..? There is no age range on being a piece of shit and I find it discomforting that many people here simply associate things they don’t like to old people.

[–] trager_bombs@lemmy.world 16 points 2 days ago

Mmmm no, it's not because he's old that I think he's this way- I point to his age because if you've lived over half a century on this planet and think murdering people for not having a home is chill, you're a pathetic fucking loser.

I understand how you could translate the other way, though, for sure.

[–] Hoimo@ani.social 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

See? Trying to solve homelessness and other societal problems is immoral, demonic even! Because every solution I can think of is mass murder, so I just know that's what the left is secretly planning!

[–] trager_bombs@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

That sums up how their brains work, ye 💀

[–] SexualPolytope@lemmy.sdf.org 6 points 2 days ago

Yeah, it's pretty much just "I'm a piece of shit, so everyone must be as well."

[–] theuniqueone@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yep even his colleagues suggestion of imprisonment was horrific he just upped the ante even more.

[–] treesapx@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I watched the video and was shocked at how casual the conversation was. He straight up says maybe we should start killing the homeless and the other hosts just nod along.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 1 day ago

fox has to tone it down ever since the biden election win and that 760mil lawsuit. thats why alot of youunger right wingers is looking to newsmax and oan for the koolaid.

[–] 5ibelius9insterberg@feddit.org 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

„So Minister, we‘ve run every viable model through the computer and it looks like there just are no easy solutions to this recession.“

„Have you tried: Kill all the poor.?“

[–] trager_bombs@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago

Fox and friends fans in my mentions on twit telling me they only meant "the violent ones" as if publicly calling for mass state sanctioned euthanasia at any intersection is okay

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yet, everyone will be homeless eventually, thanks to Black Rock

[–] trager_bombs@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

collapsed inline media

Did someone say Blackrock? (fuck Mike Lee)

[–] wulrus@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Aren't these guys against VOLUNTARY lethal injection at the same time? There was a whole "That's my Bush!"-episode about it and everything.

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 day ago

Yeah, Terry Schiavo

[–] PugJesus@piefed.social 6 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Well, the GOP has been grooving to RATM without a hint of irony, why not the Dead Kennedys now?

[–] RockBottom@feddit.org 5 points 2 days ago

No surprise. A conservative non solver. The ranks of the poor will be refilled by the class above them. The program is like that.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago

a hesgeth replacement of fox and friends.

[–] nothingcorporate@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Can we stop with this font? It's hard to read for people who don't see so well.
