What a chestnut. I am talking about US politics and the truly nutty gun culture in the US. This is a right wing facination and a political position of the republican party. The right thinks gun deaths are just fine as long as it is not them or someone they care about. Just look at gun ownership stats by party.

The old joke is that if you go far enough left, you get your guns back again.

I only learned about them at all because of the Weird Little Guys podcast. I listened to a bunch of it but then had to stop for a while because it was starting to actively depress me in ways Behind the Bastards never has.
