What happened to your camera?
It’s film and I don’t have the means to process film anymore
What would it take to bring those means back?
A space to develop my film, or a local business to do it well for me. I really want a DSLR, but I wonder if I can find one that works with the lenses I already have
Feels magical every time I encounter one. They remind me of fairies.
I call mine customers. I put out feeders so I get a lot of these little boogers. I sit in my back porch and watch them duke it out for dominance. Love hearing that buzz and their tiny little chirps.
If the feeders run low I swear they will just hover and stare through the screens at me until I refill them. They're bossy and I love them.
They buzz the top of my head if I dare step outside without more food when the feeders are low
If Tinkerbell ate her own weight in food every day.
Yeah they’re very elegant and fairy like
Hummingbirds and dragonflies are two of my favorite animals. Absolutely ruthless insectivores, natural born killers.
Haven't got my usual 4-5 this year, but finally got some solid flowers going. Rose of Sharon brings them to the yard, blooms constantly!
Did see two males running combat air patrol over the feeder today. LOL, little fuckers fight like hell. I think one may have killed another I found in the yard 3 years back. Need to hang another feeder up elsewhere, hard to keep up with if you're not paying attention.
PRO TIP: Get a feeder that takes standard Mason jars. Kinda hard to find, only scored one. Boil up a monster batch of sugar water, load up the jars, freeze. 8 or 10 jars lasts us all season. Unload, screw the new one in, no drippy mess.
Those who say their new pixel this and new pixel that have never tried to photograph a hummingbird on LSD.
Pretty good shutter speed on the phone tho. Hummingbirds are great!
