I have been involved in physical violence, up close and personal. I am a liberal who is armed and knows full well the consequences of using a gun. I have thought much on this, have PTSD from that day. I flinch when I so much as see a still image of that day. I cannot look.
When I explained to my Filipino wife what happened, I was snotting and screaming and raging. I was afraid she would be afraid of me, leave me. I have snotted and screamed and raged since 01/06.
If I had my druthers, I would line every, single, one of those traitors up, zip tied on their knees, and I would use my personal Colt .45 to blow every brain pan out of every skull. I am well aware I would no longer be human after doing so. I would give up my humanity.
Think I'm emotional right now? Think I haven't thought this through? I watched. I watched every second of that day on CNN. I watched everything I ever believed about America die. I watched my country fall.
No amount of vengeance will slake my thirst.

Really? She delayed them? When her place of work was being attacked? When she was wanted for dead? When chants of "hang Mike Pence" rang about?
Her life and the lives of her coworkers were in danger, and she decided to delay the deployment of the people who could help? Delay for what reason? Bullshit.
If anyone tries that crap, first, acknowledge their acknowledgement that it was violent. And then call them on their bullshit.
Unfortunately you're wrong. The National Guard's oath of enlistment contains a commitment to defend the constitution and to obey the orders of the President.
Adhering to the oath without taking into account one's personal leanings presents quite the conundrum nowadays: What are you supposed to do when the President IS the enemy domestic?
