I remember the Great Digg Exodus. One of the common reasons was the shit UI which was the new Digg. Looking at the screenshots in the article, it looks like they made it even worse. And the descriptions they give makes it sound like a cut-rate Twitter clone.

What's next, is Fark going to do a major re-brand and attempt to launch as a Twitter clone as well?

I would be totally down to start reading Digg again, but no fucking way if it requires an app and login.

Show me some worthwhile content before you start demanding stuff.

Do pixelated images of Kevin Ross's previous NFT scam count as worthwhile content?

They dug it out recently.

They've been trying to make a comeback somewhat recently. I think they saw an opportunity in the uptick of Reddit hate ever since their IPO shenanigans and are trying to pull an UNO reverse on them.

Idk how many people on Reddit now ever even heard of Digg though, let alone used it back in the day, so I'm curious to see how this plays out.

I'd bet they get some investor funding due to already known brand, struggle to exist without massive userspace for few years and silently die again in next 3-5 years.
