For the first few episodes of SNW i actually thought Christina was Cara Gee. I’m not great with faces and they really do give off the same character energy.

A year ago this sub made me realize that Julian Bashir and Gaius Baltar weren't played by the same person. Today they did it again, but with Christina.

And then you realize Siddig's full name is Siddig el-Tahir el-Fadil el-Siddig Abdurrahman Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Karim el-Mahdi and James Callis' full name is James Nicholas Callis.
IIRC the long name is because of the Sudanese tradition to name a child after everyone who was in the room when they were born.
The point being that they likely have differences in their heritage. Alexander is also essentially Sudan Aristocracy

Is The Expanse worth skipping a rewatch of Voyager to slot in that timeslot instead?
I'll never tell you to NOT watch a Trek series, but The Expanse is excellent, and definitely worth a watch.
The Expanse does a good job delving into somewhat realistic internal solar system travel/physics in the not too distant future and politics of Earth vs Mars vs asteroid "Belters" factions
I went into it as a fan of the books, so your experience may be different, but it was DOPE.
"DOPE" is probably the most succinct way to describe it. It's a helluva good watch.
I went into it never having read the books. Best damned sci-fi series I've seen in a very long time.
I’m currently reading (listening to) the books after watching the show and the books are also DOPE. I know some things were changed but man the show had phenomenal casting.
After watching the series I wanted to get the books, but I can't find a copy that doesn't have Amazon slapped all over it.
There's a good chance you won't stand Voyager after watching a show as good as The Expanse.
The Expanse is peak sci-fi. Don't sleep on it.
