Hey now - I'm at least not there right now.
Source - just had espresso for €1
Rarely I see a French post so I have a look but it's usually random news. French memes are so boring, half of them are about bakery and stuff.
I think there's a place for a community called 'epiceriedumemes', a play on words denoting both variety of content (like an epicerie) and spicyness (epicer).
Then again, it also really invites more bakery memes, so idk.

Nah, Piefed filters are great.
Agreed. When I tried Lemmy, it didn't have filters, so that was an immediate no for me. I just don't get the appeal of being fed a list, and not being able to filter out the noise.
