I backed all their original Kickstarters. After they announced the revival, I dug them up. Only one would charge. Wonder if their new app will be backward compatible with the old watches.

He said the app will be compatible with the old ones! The app is also open source
It should be. Once it's out.
I've still been trying to find good replacements for my Pebble. Long battery life, and just doing what it needs to without gimmicks or extra unnecessary crap. My watch doesn't need to be a mini phone, it's there to tell me if I need to bother with the actual phone.
Went through Vector and Amazfit since my OG Pebble and Pebble Time.
New one is supposed to have a 30 day battery life..... That is amazing, my OG pebble is only getting 5 days now.
God do I miss the 30 day battery life. I misplaced my charger a bunch of times because I simply wasn't using it.
My current Amazfit barely gets a day with my usage. And I only use it for notifications and sleep tracking.
The Amazfit Active 2 gets 10 days of battery life. Works perfectly with gadgetbridge. Made a junk account, retrieved the token and nuked their junk app from orbit.
My current Amazfit GTS 2 advertised a week, and I only get about 36 hours with heart rate every 15 minutes and sleep tracking overnight.
Thanks, now I’m going down in a rabbit hole of pebbles and rebbles…
Barrrrnie!
these look kinda cool.
like calculator watch cool.
I can't wait for mine.
It does so little compared to other smart watches. I dont understand the hype.
that's the whole point.
instead of doing an unlimited amount of things shittily, it will do a handful of things exceptionally well.
don't buy a Ferrari to be your grocery car. don't buy a Sebring to street race.
Suzuki Jimny. It will go literally anywhere, and you can bring several small items with you if they aren't too heavy.
I want a watch that isn't a pain in the ass to set alarms, timers, timezones, etc. I also want 24H time and many days of battery life.
That's why I'm getting it. It will be nice for cooking and work, haha.
What other smartwatch has a month long battery? /s
