Summer wouldn't really be when l'd want to go to Las Vegas.
Yeah, summer in the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
The article's main point is that bookings are down from the year before in the first 4 months of this year.
I'd imagine their reference point to bookings being "the worst they've seen" this summer is last summer.
i.e it was hot as hell last summer yet numbers were better than they are this year
